reMarkable Paper Pure mockups, photographed
A free, photographed reMarkable mockup for planner and template sellers. Drop your page export in, download the render, use it in your listing.
If you sell planners, templates or notebooks for the reMarkable, you know the problem. The device is a matte e-ink slab that looks wonderful in person and dull in a screenshot. Your listing needs the tablet in a real place, with your page on it, and it needs to look like the thing a buyer will hold.
What the scene is
A reMarkable Paper Pure on brown leather, shot from above at an angle, window light from the top right, the marker resting beside it. The screen is measured to the pixel. The glass reflection is the real one from the photo. It is the first scene in our mockup tool and it is free.
How to use it
- Export a page from the reMarkable as PNG or JPEG. The panel is 1404 by 1872 pixels, so an export at that size or any same-aspect multiple fits without cropping.
- Open the tool, drop the file on the photo, or paste it.
- Download. The render is a PNG, 1000 pixels wide for free on key scenes and full size on free scenes, with a tool key unlocking full size everywhere.
Nothing is uploaded. The compositing happens in your browser, so an unreleased planner page never leaves your machine.
Why it looks like e-ink and not a monitor
An e-ink screen is paper-white, not backlit white. If you paste a pure white page on a photo of the device it glows, and everyone can tell. Our scenes carry the panel's own shading from the photograph, and the tool lets a controlled amount of it show through the page. The white becomes the grey-white of a real reMarkable in that light, the corners darken the way the leather does, and the reflection sits on top as it did on the glass. There is also a slight depth of field, matched to the photograph, so the far edge of the page softens the way the far edge of the device does.
Using the render
Renders are yours to use commercially: Etsy and Gumroad listings, ads, social posts, client work. The only thing you may not do is redistribute the scene files themselves. That is the whole of it, and it is written out on the licence page.
More reMarkable scenes are on the way, along with phones and laptops. If you need an angle we do not have yet, tell us at sans@vasser.no.
